As VP of Education for the Brain Injury and Stroke (BIS) Toastmasters Melaida is actively involved in supporting individuals with disabilities. Her work as an employer partner through the Autism CanTech! Program helps her gain a greater understanding of students on the autism spectrum. And by volunteering at the Kipnes Centre for Veterans, Melaida is able to continue her work as an active and compassionate listener to its residents.
